Our verdict

The TB401 takes the Detect Power Blender Pro and adds a 64 oz food-processor bowl with chopping and dough blades and a slicing/shredding disc, plus a 24 oz single-serve cup. Against a Vitamix or Blendtec, that breadth in one box is the appeal.

The trade-off is the same as the TB201: a one-year limited warranty, and a lot of plastic parts. One owner review we found describes the processor bowl cracking twice within six months; that is a single report rather than a pattern, but it is the part to watch.

Choose it if you would otherwise buy a separate food processor. If you only blend, the TB201 or a longer-warranty machine is the better buy.
