Our verdict
The Q shares the Super Q's 1800 W motor rating and 68 oz jug but trims the extras: five speed buttons instead of 12, four one-touch programs (green and dairy smoothies, pulse/ice crush and soup) plus an auto-clean cycle, and no personal cup. A tamper is still included.
Its 7-year limited warranty is shorter than the Super Q's but still puts it nearer Vitamix than Ninja on durability cover. Target shoppers rate it highly, though from a small number of ratings, and we found no recurring failure reports.
At 18 in tall on its base, check your cabinet clearance. Against an entry-level Vitamix, the real question is whether you prefer preset buttons to a variable speed dial.
